WATERBURY, VT – Keurig Green Mountain announced today that it will manufacture its new Gravy Machine and Gravy-Cup pods in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
“Lancaster’s available workforce, warehousing space, and proximity to major transportation routes are ideal for the manufacturing and distribution of our new groundbreaking Gravy Machine.” said Keurig Green Mountain spokesman Sebastian Elliot.
Keurig is a beverage brewing system for home and commercial use. It is manufactured by the American company Keurig Green Mountain, which is headquartered in Waterbury, Vermont. The main Keurig products are: K-Cup pods, which are single-serve coffee containers; other beverage pods; and the proprietary machines that brew the beverages in these pods. The new Gravy Machine and Gravy-Cup pods will expand its single-serve business.
Elliot described the Gravy Machine as the “logical next step in single-serve foods.”
The new Keurig Gravy Machine and Gravy-Cup pods will be sold through brick-and-mortar and online retailers. The first Keurig Gravy Machine will retail for $179.00 with Gravy-Cup pods starting at $1.99 each.
Keurig Green Mountain will announce job fairs in the next couple weeks.
