MUNCY, PA – The bear that attacked a Muncy Creek Township woman on December 12th is reportedly an illegal Mexican immigrant bear.
Melinda LeBarron was mauled and dragged nearly 90 yards from her home on Dec. 12 after stepping outside next to a deer carcass to “smoke a ciggie” according to her husband Sidney LeBarron.
LeBarron explained her brush with death, “It was God’s will she survived.”
The Black Bear which has not been found is believed to be an illegal Mexican immigrant bear according to PGC officials and local residents.
“American bears don’t attack people. This was definitely a Mexican bear.” said PGC spokesperson Willis Clevenger.
Despite any tangible evidence or proof of the bear’s nationality locals are confident the bear is an illegal Mexican immigrant bear.
“I seen a lot of bears. Ain’t none of them ever attacked nobody. I seen it with those coyotes President Trump talked about. I know it was a Mexican bear.” Clem Snyder said confidently.
Fortunately Melinda LeBarron is improving and is expected to fully recover from her physical injuries.
A GoFundMe page to help pay for LeBarron’s medical bills has been set up.
