Columbia Celebrates 66th Place Ranking On Best Places To Live List

Columbia Borough council has decreed Saturday July 25th, 2015 to be ‘Celebrate Columbia Day’ in honor of the towns recent climb to 66th Best Place to Live.

This is the first time since records began to be kept in 1966 that Columbia has rose this high in the LNP rankings of Lancaster County Municipalities.

Rankings are not necessarily scientific as they are based on resident responses to a LNP poll, and only distributed to LNP newspaper subscribers in Lancaster County.

Apparently there are only 2 subscribers in Marietta which may have skewed the results, however Columbia Mayor Leo Lutz says, “We’ll take it! ”
