Drag Queen Story Hour Coming To Manheim Township Public Library

LANCASTER, PADrag Queen Story Hour is coming to the Manheim Township Public Library this summer.

The Drag Queen Story Hour which was most recently held at the Schlow Centre Region Library in State College will delight children this summer in Lancaster.

“Drag Queen Story Hour is a fun and important program that celebrates diversity in the way that children may dress and act. It encourages children to look beyond gender stereotypes and embrace unfettered exploration of self. Programs like DQSH encourage acceptance of difference and help to prevent bullying, while providing an enjoyable literary experience.” explained Judy Zuckerman, Director of Youth and Family Services at the Brooklyn Public Library.

The event will be free to the public and is designed for children three to eight years old.
