Millersville University Caught Up In College Admissions Scandal

MILLERSVILLE, PA – The college admissions scandal that has involved fraudulent testing, bribes, and Hollywood has hit central Pennsylvania. Millersville University is the latest university caught up in the college admissions scandal.

Investigators found that admissions counselors were admitting students for favor and SAT/ACT results were altered.

According to Federal Prosecutors a number of students SAT/ACT results were lowered to gain admission to the University.

“We found a number students who scored between 1000 and 1200 on the SAT only to have them altered to between 800 and 900 to gain admission.” said a Federal Prosecutor.

It was also learned that an admissions administrator who has not been named was soliciting favors in exchange for acceptance. These favors included tickets to Buck Motorsports Park, gift certificates to Al’s Diamond Cabaret and Shady Maple Smorgasbord, and a map of Long’s Park with dates and times written on it.

“What we are most concerned about is that young men and women who could have attended better schools may have been granted a lesser education because of their parent’s involvement.” explained the Prosecutor.
